Title: Give and Take
Summary: It goes something like this. There are some things you just can't out-run.
Rating: R
Author's Notes: 240 words. (I cheated, sue me.) General series spoilers with slight wild speculation for season four, I guess. My hand at the Save Jane Campaign hosted by
rosie-spleen. All mistakes are mine. These characters, however, are not. Enjoy. Feedback is a lovely thing.
When it happens, it goes something like this:
Fingers tangled in blonde hair, bunched in the fabric of cheap white cotton. He groans. She moans. They match each other bit for bit, lips sliding against lips with a vicious ferociousness, biting, taunting. It is a dance that is as familiar as it is foreign and her back hits the mattress before she can think twice.
His hands between her legs, sliding up, up, up and she tries not writhe beneath him, lean into his touch out of fear that he’d know she’d thought about this just as much she thought about her next breath, her next move.
Jane fails miserably.
Flesh against flesh, the delicious arching of backs. It’s quick and needy. Vicious. All take, take, take with her arms pinned above her head and Lincoln fucks her with his eyes on her own the entire time.
It unhinges her.
Later, with his voice a whisper against the delicate skin of her breast and weight fitting deliciously above her, he’ll say, “I’m glad you’re here,” like he really means it and she half believes him.
“Yeah,” Jane shrugs, “well.”
His laughter rips through her, heavy and sedating, and his mouth slides over her own once more, and she swallows his kiss whole.
“Yeah,” he whispers, lips sliding against her own with each movement. “well.”
She feels the curve of his smile perfectly against her mouth and kisses him back.
