Okay, I know it wasn't *specifically* for me, but it might as well have been.
Although I know she's not bitter about it, it must be something for Hope, that she thought she was going to move to Boonsboro to have some single ladies time with her two best girlfriends, and as soon as she gets there, they're both married or close on their way to it.
And I absolutely can't wait to dive into Ryder's head- their story has been the one I was most excited for, because with Beckett and Clare, and Avery and Owen, they were both childhood friends who'd known each other forever. So excited to see Hope and Ryder slowly peel back the layers on each other.
YOU ARE FABULOUS.

Yeah, Hope would never begrudge them their happiness but it has to be difficult to see Avery and Clare moving on with their lives while she is stuck, stagnant, in a brand new town carrying around all the hurt from what transpired in DC. AND THEN BAM, ENTER RYDER! Heh.
I am super excited for this because not only is it my favorite trope (the ones that hate each other falling for each other) but, like you said, they have no idea where the other comes from and they are... somewhat hardened by time, and it is going to be interesting to see them fall in love. With B/C and A/O those feelings were always there, in some way, just waiting be rediscovered....
I CAN. NOT. WAIT.

(Also: I have a feeling he is going to show up, too... judging by the excerpt on the jacket.)

YOU ARE FRIGGIN FACTASTIC.
AHHH, I NEED THE BOOK TO HAVE COME OUT LIKE YESTERDAY.
What you've done so well is choreograph their quiet attraction dance that is always simmering under the surface. I love that they don't quite know what to do with it! I so want to get into Ryder's head about it all and I can't wait for NR to do her thing.
OMG, PLEASE BE GOOD.

I'm excited to read Hope's POV, but also: RYDER. Because, like her, I just cannot figure him out.
IT BETTER BE GOOD. I WILL BE SO DISAPPOINTED IF IT ISN'T.

I kind of hope you go down the rabbit hole again and write more Hope/Ryder!!!

WHY ISN'T IT TUESDAY?!?!?!?!

I could not sleep last night and was thinking about why people wouldn't write me Hope/Ryder, so I just decided to do it myself. I knew you'd approve!

Seriously though, I had such an epically exhausting day and I was getting ready to crawl into bed and pass out when Jess told me you had written this. I am now slightly less stressed out. THESE TWO KIDS. I am so excited to read about them!

I am so sorry you had an exhausting day, but I am glad I could help make it a tad bit better! I hope tomorrow is better for you!
FOUR DAYS.

It really wasn't a bad day or anything! Just, I don't know if you saw any of the lines of commuters waiting for the shuttle buses between Brooklyn and Manhattan? I was one of those people. I made the executive call not to go into work today, and it was ABSOLUTELY the right choice. The office hasn't even called me back with anything they need me to do. They genuinely don't need me this week.
FOUR DAYS. UGH, I AM SO EXCITED.

Maybe I'll write you more Hope/Ryder next week to cheer you up :)
