To give Jean-Claude credit, he didn’t ask any questions. He simply led me down a hallway, opened a door and left. I turned on the light and all the blood in body rushed to my cheeks. I still should have asked him to stay. I didn’t even recognize some of the “tools” that were laid out so neatly. Some were obvious, of course. And thanks to my little adventure at Guilty Pleasures, I recognized the floggers. But some of the other toys made no sense to me. Others made too much. The phallus coated with silver. Ouch. The whips with their silver barbs. Nathaniel needed so much more than I was able to give him. I didn’t know if I could use even something as benign as the silver nipple clamps. I didn’t want to hurt him and yet he missed the role playing, craved the dominance, the punishment, the rewards. I remembered his expression as Jean-Claude and I hit him with the flogger. It wasn’t pain on his face, it was peace. Could I deny him that pleasure, that release? I gingerly picked up one of the floggers, testing its weight. The tails were lavender. They matched his eyes.
