The vampire vanished into the warehouse, and Anita skidded to a halt inside the door. Cautiously, she looked around in the dark.
"Can you see him?" Zerbrowski asked. Turning on the light, they noticed a hatch in the roof.
"Up there?"
He shrugged, and they walked over to it.
"What kind of warehouse is this, anyway?" Anita asked, climbing up the handy ladder underneath and releasing the hatch.
Almost a minute later Anita crawled out of the still-growing pile of toy penguins.
"Why me?"
The only answer was the squeak of yet another toy penguin as it hit her head.
