first on the agenda, kw34hd1 was suspended permanently due to an "offensive" icon used on bradfitz's relatively new project, OpenID. i'll let sneak's explain since he knows the situation better:

Holy cow, a post in abuse_lj_abuse with legitimate complaints. What the fuck.

Also, orders of no contact do carry over. In most cases, they give them out specifically because multiple accounts were used because if someone was only using one account to harass you they just go "just ban them, it's not our problem lol". That's why when I got banned from indiefucks, nothing happened, but when 2justin got banned, I got a long and poorly thought out email in legalese. But I was pretty sure they only acted on legitimately confirmed evidence.

what kh means is that the no contact order was placed between cookiecache and "XXX". then XXX got suspended (for violating it-imagine that) and came back as XXXX. so how can a no contact order filter down to a person who got suspended for violating it?

also, XXX has been suspended approx 5 times for the same thing-i think she's up to XXXXXXXXXXXXX by now.

Keep in mind I'm saying this without reading the specific order, but no contact orders usually apply to the individuals involved, not the accounts involved.
