That's one of the least offensive user pic's I've come across, and is certainly less offensive and annoying than them silly bouncy tits that were running around here last year - they were really annoying!

exactly. if they're going to hit people for offensive usericons then the furry and white power communities both will suffer massive casualties.

Apostrophes have three uses in English:

1. They are used to indicate POSSESSION, whether literal or figurative.
2. They are used to indicate TIME and MEASUREMENT in some cases.
3. They are used to form CONTRACTIONS.

Please note that INDICATING A PLURAL FORM is not on that list.

Pic's = contraction of pictures ∴ see 3.

"pic" is an accepted diminuitive of "picture"/"photograph", therefore it should be "pics" [plural], and "pic's" would be possessive*, not a contraction.

*As in: Bad PhotoShop work is the pic's only fault, but a major one.

There's no should about it. Pic's it is, and Pic's it'll stay.

Technically, neither am I. It's still a valid source -- after all, if you're using an Americanism, best to check your source with an American dictionary. I wouldn't consult the Japanese on the correct use of English, that would just be silly, now wouldn't it?
