For those who have been reading, I finally have a conclusive update on my condition. n.n After battling with several infections (including one that was resistant to some of the antibiotics) I have reached what might be termed the 3/4 stage.
Last week I had a CT-Scan taken of my head, neck, chest and abdomen so that they could check the progress I've made with the chemotherapy regimen. I've had ABVD type chemotherapy once every 2 weeks. Todays was treatment #9 out of a due total of 12. After those treatments are done, they've told me that about 2 to 4 weeks later I can return to work. n.n The power-port will remain in my chest for another 6 to 12 months, during which time they'll keep an eye on me to make sure the lymphoma is gone. I'll need to get it flushed monthly, but other than that it shouldn't be much bother.
I'm hoping to return to work sometime mid to late September or early October. n.n They've said that they might move me down to door greeter at first, to allow me to get used to standing again before moving me back to register. Here's hoping. ::Crosses fingers.:: n.n
In other news, I'm planning to go to see Harry Potter & The Half-Blood Prince with Mason on Saturday. Here's hoping that I'm not completely wiped out still from today's chemo. n.n'
Hope everyone is doing well.
