Sweeps is awesome

And here is why: I watched Gale Harold and Seth Green in the same episode of Grey's Anatomy. My mom and I were going to watch... Hairspray, I think (or Spiderman 3 and I'VE THROUGHLY BLOCKED IT FROM MY MIND) and as I was flipping down to the input channel mom sees that Grey's is on and with the vacation she had completely forgotten about it. I don't watch Grey's, I've tried to watch it a couple times with her and bah, just annoys me. Buuuuuuuut, we enter a new scene looking from down the hallway at a bed with a patient and a doctor and with my super fan sense I immediately zero in on Mr. Gale Harold playing an EMT hurt in some massive just-outside-the-hospital ambulance accident (there is much carnage). He didn't want the (female) black attending surgeon to treat his racist ass so she paged Sandra Oh who while not black is not white since she is pissed at the guy (and Sandra Oh was pissed about getting called from her new service) and Sandra Oh finally gets the guy to let her check him out and when she undoes his shirt he has a giant swastika tattooed on his abdomen. Nice. So he needs surgery and won't consent until there is a white doctor in there to make sure the two colored folk don't kill him for being a nazi. So poor George (I love him and his orthopod lady (but not enough to watch the show especially since he seems to have a hangup on the chick from Knocked Up in a very annoying angsty on off will won't way)) gets pulled from a really interesting case with McDreamy (whom I loved in "Enchanted") to stand there and watch them operate on the guy. THEN as some icing on the cake Seth Green is in there with an exposed carotid artery (noooo idea how that happened as we tuned in late) and Seth Green was great as usual and then at the very end of the episode he was laughing with the intern who was taking care of him (at this time with no bandage for full dramatic effect of what happens next...) and his carotid busted open! Then the episode ended, with the intern being covered in blood.

My mom is watching Desperate Housewives and they had Richard Chamberlain on.

And that is why Sweeps is awesome.
