From ALSA to OSS

Sep 25, 2008 08:32

Finally configured Ubuntu on the lappy to produce acceptable sound quality, one that its hardware deserves. For a while I was wondering why the quality sucked, did some research and found out I could change things. ALSA just won't cut it and OSS is better. Followed the instructions and after three hours, I'm smiling as I listen to Love Me After 12AM.

alsa, oss, powbook, ubuntu, music
