That was one hell of a come back Sox! What a ninth inning! I love when Ortiz gets really excited and jumps up and down like he does. And I'm going to rape Varitek when I get home.
So late, as usual, but our weekend in Maine last week:
Thursday evening, Dana and I had a crazy drive to pick up Kaitlynn at USM. The funniest songs just kept coming up on her shuffle, and this damn truck was driving like a MAINE-iac! He was like weaving in and out of the cars anywhere from 80-95 mph. It was so scray and we couldn't lose him. He just kept popping back up. T&T!!! Anyway, we got Kaitlynn, and to start our Girl's weekend, we went to Shelly's for a fire. I love Maine fires!
Friday we had girl's lunch with Lynn, hung around for a while, and then girls night to see Dana's old dance troupe perform. And some dances were actually pretty good. Plus, Debi danced in one and it was the best thing ever. And afterwards, it was another HUGE fire at Shelly's witht the three of us, Ellen, and Joe Turnah the bearded woodsman. It was the best fire ever. We were such hippies and pindabed, blasted Fleetwood Mac, and danced around in circles around the fire. And Joe just kept going intot he woods to chop more wood up, so the fire just never died out.
Saturday we had a crazy start to Portland, cuz we kept forgetting things and had to keep going back to Dana's. We were all bums and tired, but we did get delicious Thai and went shopping for a bit. I started to get a Migraine before dinner, but it fortunately went away quickly. And when we got back to Dana's that night, we say the best skit from recent snl ever. I still think it's so damn funny. AND Caleb Sue was being soooooo nice to me! He sat on me with his fav blanket and just purred and purred while I scratched under his chin. We were both loving it! It was just what I wanted.
And Sunday, Dana was supposed to go see Muse with AbbyElliot, but the concert was cancelled cuz they all had food poisoning. SO we pindabed hardcore and had a BBQ. Plus watched that thing on 90s snl and watch Everything is Illuminated, which I liked. UNE has like the best off campus apaartments I have ever seen ever. Cuz first of all they're not far off campus, they're right there. And then best of all, they're right on the beach. Literally right there, all little beach cottages and shit. They're so damn sweet.
And Monday morning we had an early drive home. It was an awesome Girls in Maine weekend.
The rest of the week:
Tuesday was the last day of classes and then we had our end of the year track dinner. waaaaaaaaaahhhh. Seniors. But it's not goodbye yet, cuz I'm def coming back for graduation two weeks later to party.
I had a lot to do for finals and was getting a slow start on it all, but some how, and I have no idea how, I did a lot of work Thursday. And I finished all my papers pretty easily. I was so expecting to be drowning in work from procrastination, but no. And I think both of my philosophy finals turned out well.
Plus, I got to go out friday and saturday night. Friday was party at Mark's house. Which was just ridiculous and crazy. And last night we got effed up in Amherst and had last wings, and watched the Best of Mike Myers. I used to rent that all the damn time with Emily Cho and Ali and I liked it too, and like, what the fuck. It's not awful, but why the hell did I think it was so damn funny. Oh man. Oh and plus, Sasha walked right through a tree and it was the best thing I've ever seen.
Anyway, I go home tomorrow morning. And once again, I'm getting ready so slowly, cuz guess what! I HATE PACKING SO DAMN MUCH! I was gonna hang around for a while, but I miss my house. And I actually want to play with Eddie. So, yeah, leaving around 11 tomorrow. I'm not gonna do big goodbyes, cuz like I said I plan to be back for graduation. And I better be, cuz I really don't wanna say goodbye to anyone right now. But uh, yes. This year is over. This summer will be fun. And I really did love this year despite my migraines turning into once a year to once a day. Cuz they're under control pretty much now. And Being abroad was the best thing ever, Edinburgh is my love. And this semester was just so awes. Good track times, good Maine in Amherst times, and did pretty well with all my classes. So I'm actually sad to see Junior year go (unlike in Highschool). But Senior year is gonna kick so much ass. SO much craziness to come!
