You hit the net - give me your red tube.

Sunday Kim, Nirali, and I went up to Tina's house for good times eating Japanese food and snowtubing. Sunday night Tina's mom cooked an amaaazing Japanese dinner. We ate until we were totally stuffed and then kept on going. So good. :D Chiiko is the coolest mom ever in life (partly because she and Tina's dad have matching snowsuits, lol). After some quality chatting we went out to a bar for a little bit then came back and watched a movie. Monday we forced ourselves to get up early (noon, lol) to go to Katana for hibachi. Even though the chef didn't do any super cool tricks like the other guy that threw shimp at our faces and almost burned us with giant flames the one time lol, the food was really good and it was a lot of fun. Monday night was the highlight of the entire stay at Tina's. We'd planned on going snowtubing so we go up there along with two of Tina's friends and are having a great time just going down the hills and whatnot. At the bottom of the hill was this big net that prevented anyone from going over a cliff - our goal eventually became to run into the net. We'd get kinda close but never quite get it. At one point Tina asked one of the guys that worked there how we could go faster..eventually he let out the secret that the tubes with the red plastic on the bottom go faster (we had orange plastic). So we go and switch our tubes for red ones and immediately notice that they move better on the snow (but really ice, because most of the snow was covered in ice). All six of us went at the same time and after the first little bump we all got a lot of air which prompted me to smack my teeth together and Kim to yell "Holy shit!" Then we get to the bottom and within five seconds, we all hit the net. Only thing is, we all hit it at full-speed and didn't exactly do it gracefully. I went into it face first, creating a huge bruise right below my eyebrow, and then flipped onto the ground, falling pretty hard onto the ice and throwing my tube a few feet away from me. When one of Tina's friends fell back onto the snow, she landed face first and didn't get up for a minute then lifted her head and was just like, "I think I knocked the wind out of myself!" lol We were all in such pain, it hurt like a mother. Then this guy comes over to us and says, "You hit the net, give me your red tube...You hit the net, give me your red tube.." and takes all our tubes. We could've switched back to orange, but I don't think it could've ended any better than it did. Oh man, such a good time. I'm so glad we got together, I love doing fun stuff like that and just hanging out and being stupid with you guys. :)
