ok, so long ago in a land far far away (new jersey), before comedy central was comedy central, it was two different channels: HA!, and THE COMEDY CHANNEL. later they merged and become the mighty force we now all know and love.
but on comedy channel there was a late night show starring one
Allan Havey, called night after night.
i watched this show whenever my juvenile ass was up at 3AM, and at one point a girl that i would later meet, and have a huge crush on, was on his show as "the audience of one" which is exactly what it sounds like (it was a very low budget show). in 1994 that girl took her own life, turning many worlds upside down.
i need to find this program, and preferably that particular episode, in which Sarah Bias was a guest.
it's not on ebay, and i have no idea what to do other than to email mr. havey with a blast from his past and hope that he has tapes of his very old show. i'd rather not do that. although, truth be told, he would probably be thrilled to know that SOMEBODY remembers him, and liked his show a lot.
anyone have any ideas?
