The power of addiction...
Ok, well I lied. The Rising Stars hardcover took me like half a day to read, not the days I had intended. Largely because I abandoned all semblance of a leisurely pace while reading it. The only other stuff that has ever sucked me in this bad was 1602, Snow Crash and The Half-Blood Prince. Hell, I actually teared up a bit during a few parts (havent had that happen since I watched the Iron Giant). Wild. This little bit of literary gorging has had a rather pleasent side effect; I havent felt this inspired to create in ages. Since I am dog-sitting at my inlaws' place and wont be using the intarweb much (spite, thy name is dial-up) I think I am gonna get crackalackin on a few ideas that I have had knocking around for a while. So while I wont be online much, I will definately be keeping busy. I will be back at my house for more than a few minutes on Thursday. See ya then.
