TGIF, BIATCHES! w00t!

so today has been one of the best days ever in the history of my life. here's why:

1) i got a part in the faculty-directed shakespeare measure for measure. it's being directed by my intro to drama teacher, it's showing in the main theater of kenyon (the bolton), some of my favorite people are in it with me, and i get to play mistress overdone--the whore. i'm so pumped for this!

2) i got into the intro to poetry seminar that i applied for! at kenyon, to be an english major with a concentration in creative writing, you *must* take at least one creative writing seminar. the trick is that each semester they have an application process where you submit samples of your writing, each seminar is only twelve people, there's usually only one of each (fiction or poetry, and usually a special topic like writing for children), hundreds of students apply, and seniors get priority. i tried to get into one for this semester last year and was rejected. but, now i'm in one and i'm totally psyched!

3) i found out who has been stealing money from my bookstore account by using my name and forging my signature. i got all my money back and they're being punished. it was $84.

4) i got one of my new books today from amazon. it's by haruki murakami and it's called "the wind-up bird chronicle." can't wait to read it!

5) i've decided to turn "devil went down to georgia" into a 5-minute scene for my drama class, and it's turning out to be a lot of fun to write.

6) i'm at home tonight before i drive up to OU for halloween madness tomorrow. i got to eat delicious japanese food for dinner and am now going to watch "camelot" (1960s, richard harris) with the 'rents. and snuggle.

the only real downer/problem i've had this week was my early 18th century lit paper that was due wednesday, my botany quiz today (reproduction of angiosperms is a bitch!), and a certain boy that i broke things off with (for good reason) trying to make me jealous about his new girl and succeeding. even though i don't want to date him anymore at all.

alright, that's enough. i'm out like the cardinals in the world series. (GO SOX!)

Threat rating: High. The Bush administration is
concerned that it may not get a second term.
Therefore, we are going to change the rules so
that each Democrat vote only counts as 0.2
votes because Democrat is a shorter word than
Republican

What threat to the Bush administration are you?
