(no subject)
Work really surprised me this past week. I got 2 hours off of work with pay, which to me was cool. I've never worked anywhere before where they give you time off without using your PTO and without it being an actual "holiday"
A new position of interest opened up. I discussed with my manager her thoughts on my applying for the position and she thinks I should go for it. I'd be salary. Making more money. but not getting anymore bonuses. I'd get more vacation time though.
I had a nice talk with my mom on my drive home from work this afternoon. For once she was on my side regarding issues with Nick and myself. She helped me realize that despite how asinine my opinions are, they are MY opinions and I still am entitled to them. We also discussed where I'd be in life had I made other choices with my life. We both came to the conclusion that once changed things are going to get better.
I got out of bed at 5:05am today to buy one thousand thread count sheets for $19. Best decision I've made all season.
My nephew likes to pull Lucy's tail straight. Too cute. He also runs around after he calling out "Rucy... Rucy come heeeeere!!" CUTE!!!
My oldest brother is moving to Alberta. bummer.
I'm sick. HATE IT!
