the week-end...

Apr 03, 2005 17:11

after my shit week, in terms of dealing with the prima donna asshole men, i was desperately looking forward to the weekend. my weekend consisted of:

1.) scategories
2.) catch phrase
3.) bud light and miller hi-life
4.) munchies and good conversation
5.) checking out logan square (a potential place to live...the apartments are FRIGGIN HUGE!!!!! ain't no lie...sheeeeit!)
6.) eating at a ghetto wendy's (sorry tina!)
7.) watching 'the butterfly effect' (finally!)
8.) meeting krishna's soon-to-be wife and eating at russian tea time (it made my sunday lunch SO extraordinare!)
9.) chillin' and cleaning my apartment

i can't wait...good things are coming up! first off, next friday is my co-worker's birthday celebration at zentra. she's going to put me on a guestlist so i can get in with any of my friends for free! then she apparently gets free shots all night...so she's going to pass shots along to everyone there!! good fun! i might be the only one going though...which will be all right...i can meet joanna's friends...no big deal!

then on april 12th (a week from tuesday) it's our cubs day adventure...which should prove to be a good time!

then april 22nd m83 is playing at the empty bottle. i initially thought that the only day they were playing was the 21st...but according to the website, they're also playing on friday. i'll have the chance to meet pennslyvannia will's good friend dave, who lives in a western suburb (and is thinking of moving to the city...of which i totally approve).

april 23rd is tina's birthday celebration...which will basically be a drunk fest. no real idea of what we're planning to do...i just believe we'll be drunk...and when we're all drunk, craziness ensues!

then alissa is coming to visit in may...early may...and so is chalupa...late may...

of course, mister jason norris has been talking about coming out to chicago this month sometime...but we'll have to wait and see if him and his sister can get their shit together in order to make the trek.

that is all...for now at least...
