I know what its like. I have very few friends, and nearly none in Vancouver. Its tough. But when one of the few friends I have uses me over and over, I feel like Id rather not get involved anymore.

I honestly can NOT believe that someone would have the nerve to ask someone else to take care of a FREE RANGING rat. Good grief. My rodents are all in cages and I still wouldn't ask anyone to take care of them for any length of time in their own homes. :S

I'm sorry Jada. I agree you need to put your foot down. It's not cool for anyone to treat you like a doormat.

It does get to be a bit much...It's important to not let people abuse your good nature, but at the same time, you want to keep that good nature. Once in a while, people surprise you with returning your care and concern and it restores your faith in humanity, at least a little bit.
I hope that happens very soon for you...

The castle is too big to fit through the door, so thats why the rat didnt come with a cage. Im using Pickle's old cat cage for the rat, and Ive had to wash the rat twice because he's covered in fleas. Do you want to hear more, or shall I stop..?
