Just finished this one. It took me far too long to make, as the client kept emailing me everyday with changes and additions. Sometimes with posters there comes a time where you just want to get it finished and move on, and thats how I felt with this one. I got so tired of looking at it. But the client was happy and even gave me a $30 tip!
This event sounds like a ton of fun. Its a Masquerade Ball, hosted by a famous Vancouver drag-queen, set in the dark underground settings of the Storyeum Theatre. Every attendee will be givin a dance card with which write the names of people you've danced with that night, and they all have to be strangers. Costumes and masks are mandatory as attendees spend an evening set back to the 18th century. Also there is a corset auction, medieval fashion show, and a buffet, because we all love food. Tickets are $60 each and I'm sure they will be worth every penny. I'm totally looking forwards to this event, and I'll be sure to photograph it. :)
