See Sora laying in his back in the grass, his normal shirt, jacket, shorts combo swapped out for a thick hoodie and jeans, hood pulled up over his spiky brown hair, staring up at the barrier, watching the water as it moves and shifts across it.
It was far from being home, laying on his back in the sand, listing the waves break against the beach and watching the stars dance in the night sky, but it was the closest he had found so far.
The scene continues for another moment, before he reaches down, and pulls a small, star shaped trinket from his pocket. Holding it up it becomes clearly visible in the harsh lamp lightening of the park. He studies it for a moment, smiling softly, before clutching it in his fist and sitting up, the SFC blurring with the movements. When it re-focuses the angle is awkward, the communicator now laying in Sora's lap and shooting upward. He's looking downwards into it, the good luck charm carefully held in his hand. He really didn't need it anymore, did he? As long as he was here, it wasn't like he was going to be going on any adventures.
But Kairi had given it back to him, and that meant something, didn't it? It meant she wanted him to have it. It had kept him safe this far, maybe it would keep him safe here too. His smile widens and he reachs down, slipping in back into his pocket. The feeds blurs once more as Sora jumps upwards, bringing himself into a standing postion, brushing the grass and dirt from his cloths. It's not until he lifts the SFC to close it that he realizes it's on. Guess who has two thumbs and probably hit the video button while he was trying to get the games to work. Yep, Sora.

See Sora laugh sheepishly and lift his free hand, reach inside the hood and rub the back of his neck. Oh dear, looks like someone's embarrassed. It's clearly time to change the subject!]
Christmas will be here soon! Everyone all ready for it? I wonder who will be handling it this year. Since Jack's not here, I guess Santa Claus will have his holiday back. As long as no one tries to steal all the present, that is.
