What Inspires You?
I've been thinking about this lately.
My life seems to move in phases. There are times when all I want to do is read. Others when all I want to do is write. It is during these time when I feel like I'm taking in massive amounts of creative thoughts and I equally feel the need to purge them.
In these times I feel very connected to the world and all that is around me. And inspiration comes from the most unlikely places.
Just this week, I've been inspired by the following:
The color of a coworker's shirt.
A phrase from a television show.
A favorite line from a movie.
Reading a friend's fictional work.
The messages from two fortune cookies.
A quote from a random page in a book.
A quote from a book that I'm reading.
A guy walking past me smelling like a fresh shower and masculine aftershave.
The river during twilight.
So tell me, what has inspired you lately?
