In light of all the recent madness that has taken hold of my life, I've taken to mindless entertainment and anything that is light and silly and not stressful. That said, I can't think of anything less stressful than surfing the net for images of beautiful men. Thank goodness for memes!
1) List 5 celebrities you would sleep with, no questions asked. No hesitation. They say "Let's..." You say "...Go!!!"
2) Put them IN ORDER of your lust for them.
3) Say which movie/show/thing it was that hooked you.
4) Supply photos for said people.
5) Tag five people.
Before you enter the Valley of Hotness, let me just confess from the jump...I cheated and here's why:
1) Hotness not withstanding I think I can pretty much say without fear of lying that there is no man on planet earth that I would sleep with no questions asked...I don't care how sexxxay they are. I could be really tempted, but I know in my heart I couldn't do it. Fictional characters....maybe...sheesh, what am I saying? But for the sake of the game I'm playing along.
2) There is no way I could put them in order of my lust for them. I want them all at different times. Heh, greedy much?
3) I have 6 people. Couldn't make the cut. Sue me.
4) Time to bring on the hotness!
Shemar Moore
I don't remember the first time I saw him. I *think* it was on "Young and the Restless" when he showed up to play Malcolm Winters, but all I could say was "whoa!" I've had the pleasure of meeting him...twice. Over the years I have been less than impressed by his acting, but I do believe he has improved a lot. Hands down, I think he's one of the most handsome men I have ever seen. I mean, my goodness look at him! I don't think you're supposed to look directly into his eyes though, you may spontaneously combust from all that pretty.
George Clooney
The original Doctor "McDreamy" in my book (Doug Ross, "ER") makes my heart flutter and he comes across as one of the coolest actors onscreen. I loved him as Sela Ward's cop boyfriend on the show "Sisters" but I think it was his role opposite Jennifer Lopez in "Out of Sight" that won me over for life. The "Ocean's" films aren't half bad either. I don't know, there's something about that twinkle in his eye and bobbing head thing he always does that gets me every time.
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson
I remember the day I first saw The Rock. It was in the fall of 1999 while watching a boring Jets game over my friend Marc's house. He turned the channel to WWF during a commercial break and we clowned him mercilessly. "What are you, 12?" My friend Shelley and I were sitting there and was struck stupid mid-cackle by The Rock spouting off some of his signature smack talking. Marc turned the channel back to the game and we both almost tackled him for the remote to turn it back. "Who is THAT??!!" From that point on, I was hooked on WWF right up until the time The Rock left. I don't watch it anymore, but those YouTube videos from 1999-2001 are classic. Watching them makes me warm and fuzzy. I just love him.
Will Lemay
Will is unique on this list as he makes his living primarily as a model. I think I first saw him in store advertisement on a billboard and I was awestruck. I don't know very much about him at all, but I always spot him here and there in various ads or sometimes on the runway. Simply put, he's just gorgeous.
Antonio Sabato, Jr.
The first time I saw Antonio Sabato, Jr. was when I shook his hand at the Autorama at Cobo Hall back in the early 90's. I had no idea who he was, but women were losing their complete minds around him. I remember he was very, very polite and humble and had a blinding smile. Later, I saw him again in Janet Jackson's "Love Will Never Do Without You" video and that's when I realized how truly handsome he was. Yeah, I know all about the Calvin Klein ads and I actually noticed a lot of them getting stolen from the bus stops in Philadelphia, but for me, it was that video that got my attention. He's also in the running for one of the most handsome men I've ever met/seen.
Jonathan Rhys Meyers
Originally I was going to talk about Jonathan in a different post, but Jeebus Lawrd there is definitely something about him that's smokin' hot (even if he is a little skinny for my tastes). I found him absolutely adorable in "Bend It Like Beckham" but I think he really turns on the sexy as Henry VIII in "The Tudors" even though his character is perfectly dispicable most of the time. If I had seen him first in "Match Point" I doubt if he would make any list of mine. I tend to associate actors with the characters I first see them play. He was so evil in that movie that I felt dirty after I watched it, and not in a good way. I can't say he didn't play the hell out of that role though.
A few things I've learned about myself after making this post:
1) I like the pretty boys.
2) My favorite photos seem more like "moments in time" rather than those taken from highly stylized photo shoots (JRM being the exception.)
3) I need to take up photography.
4) I have met, worked with, and befriended men IRL that are every bit as handsome and endearing as these celebrities seem to be.
5) TAG, YOU'RE IT!!
