So....School eh?

Well, this year has just started and it's already hectic.

I'm running around sorting out my tuition, timetable, and groups that I have affiliated myself with. I missed something like 3 or 4 classes on Monday (the first day) because I had to sort the first two things out. Luckily they seem to have taken care of themselves pretty well, but it'll take about a week to figure that out. I'm not currently "registered" because I just deposited my registration payment. That should take 3 to 4 days to process.

It looks like I'll be taking a combination of 2nd and 3rd year courses to make up for my fuck-ups. I kinda wish that I could totally stick with my year, but I have to pay for my mistakes. Hindsight really is 20/20.

Currently on the table I have to start designing two websites, and clean out the CEO office sometime during the course of this week. On top of that, I need to make sure that I still have a job with the Grizz. I told them I was coming back this school year, but who knows if they have filled my place.

Anyway, I'm excited to see what this year has to present it's self with. I've already come across a bunch of obstacles, but I'm determined not to be knocked off course. I think that I really matured over this summer. I still know how to have a great time, but it seems that I've become a bit more disciplined. Realistically, I never had much discipline, I always seemed to do my own thing, and find a way to worm out of it. I feel like I want/have to change from my old ways, though. I can't go through life living on pure chance that my unadvised and immature decisions will pan-out, because clearly either my luck is running out, or I'm just pressing it too hard.

I'm really excited to buy the new Coheed album. I've been waiting for that sucker since iKSoSE:3 came out. Coheed is such an amazing band, they are true musical idols in my mind. I've been listening to an advanced release of the new album and it sounds spectacular. It really touches on the roots of multiple styles of music. In the first 3 songs, you can distinctly hear spanish, orchestral and classic-rock (zeppelin influences. It contains soft and rock ballads (I <<<<3333 Ballads), and just seems to keep building as the tracks progress, like a snowball rolling down a mountainside.

Anyway, my stomach won't shut up, so I must go to the kitchen. Chicken, Mustard and Mayo Sandwich? I think so.
