Well, if you can think of one of your favorite nights of your entire life... times that by five and you willhave the night that I had last night.
Knowing that summer had to be started right we decided to spend it together instead of going to John's party. And where better to start off the summer then Sunset? More and more people decided to come and finally we had ourselves four cars of crazy kids.
We went to Mike Kemp's cottage in hopes his grandparents wouldn't be there and tried to find a way in. Instead we partied in the backyard around a campfire. As everyone started drinking the seniors played games like "best senior moment". We watched them for a while and the girls decided to go visit Elle and she what she was doing. She was driving and saw us and picked us up so we hung out at her house and they talked to her dad. She came back with us for a little while.
When we got back. Everyone of the guys was so drunk. They started toasting and singing and pretty much all of the girls started crying. All the sudden Chris Bauer comes over to me and hugs me and tells me that he's sorry and I started bawling and it was the nicest thing ever. All the guys were crying and the girls were crying. There were toasts every two minutes. They reminded us we are as big a part of them as they are to us.
The fire was perfect. The weather was perfect. The people were perfect. It was amazing.
It definatly was the best way to start off summer. Those are my freinds. Whether we are seniors or juniors of fucking freshman. We spend every day with at least three of those boys. Last summer Adam, Amanda, Me, and Kemper were inseperable. I love them. (Jackie also spilled me and her secret for the last thee years... The only reason we got dressed and tried to look pretty was to walk down the 2nd floor hallway so those boys could see us, and sometimes call us birds, and sometimes whistle... but it was)
My only worry was that we might not all make it home safely, but we did. Except Kenny was pretty sober so he drove Adam's car but they got two tickets for speeding and open alcohol.
I definatly jammed to Hanson by myself on the ride home.
