After last weeks episode I was a bit underwhelmed by this one, it wasn't bad but not that memorable either too me. It did have some great moments of cause:) I loved the brotherly stuff and the boys working together again The Dean in headgear and Sam too just to be save scene, had me smiling a lot but guh Dean don't eat the ham especially after it's been sitting out for so long. Though eating Dean has a special place in my heart;) Loved the look on Sam's face when Dean showed him his hairy paw and Dean's little grin as he walked away, of cause Dean will use your razor Sammy, he's Dean! *g*
And here was this beautiful shot I really enjoy looking at, the light is amazing!
The whole anti-christ plot is not my fave I must admit, it fall kinda flat to me, with the oh by the way the anti christ is not one of a kind. And we get no explanation about how their are created except, needs a virgin and a black eyed demon and vola? So how come there aren't hundreds of these kids, people running around? Virgin are a plenty and so are black eyed demons these days. The kid actor did a good job though and I really, really enjoyed the actor who played the mother, she was amazing!
Now to the tricky parts:) We finally finally got a bit of real Castiel/Sam interaction in this episode, so Sam really is visibly when Castiel appears in a room? Good to see and it only took you one and a quarter of a season show*shakes head* And I loved how Sam didn't back down an inch even when the angel starting with the blamethowing again. Go Sam and I actually liked that Dean didn't step in to defend his brother, Sam can stand up for himself and it shows how the brothers are changing to become equal partners. Of cause Dean can punch out the angel with my heartfelt approval when the spineless wonder finally fesses up to his part in the apocalypse:)
I really, really don't get Castiel's supposed "moral" high ground here? He did it in 4.02 with the blamethrowing and now again in this episode too. Sam knows what he did was wrong for crying out loud and have said as much time and time again, but he didn't exactly have all pieces to the puzzle about Lillith being the final seal did he? Mainly thanks to you and your pals Castiel, so stop with the high and mighty crap it's getting old and you don't have a leg to stand on, so plz flap away.
Was I the only one who hoped for Sam to step on the Castiel figure and go "Oops":P
Plus Casitiel trying to kill the kid doesn't endear him to me more, just again shows how "alien" his way of thinking is, he is not human, heck he is actually an "it" when it all comes down to it, which is also why "he" just doesn't really work in any slash pairing for me and why his character is not to be trusted, he could easily turn against the winchesters too IMO.
But back to the boys*g*
