oInk is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me.
In 3 hours, I got the "top 100 albums of rock and roll" according to VH-1. Yes, there was a lot of garbage on that list, but in one click, I have replaced so much that I lost when I had to replace my hard drive. I am very excited to have Paul Simon's "Graceland," "Curtis Mayfield's "Superfly," and Stevie Wonders "Songs in the Key of Life" again. Not to mention the other things I have gotten. I got a few Heatmeiser records, a live Elliott Smith show, some Sunny Day Real Estate and some live Wilco.
Fuck peer to peer. Torrents are the way to go. Even for the computer illiterate that I am. With all this music I might even need to actually get an iPod. I've put it off for this long, though. I would hate to give in and turn into just another 20 something oblivious to the world around me because I won't go anywhere without my music.
I think I'm going back to bed. I'm tired.
