craaaaaaaash
So, my computer started to make weird noises yesterday - like processing but louder, and a kind of clicking noise. First it was just annoying, then I thought it might be more of a problem. I took in into Best Buy this afternoon and they said that my hard drive was dying :( :( I brought it back to the room and tried to back up some of my stuff - documents and music files. I got all the documents and pictures fine, but about 2/3 of the way through backing up some rare 311 stuff I have it all died. So I will not have a computer for the next two-three weeks. This wouldn't be SO terrible if it weren't for the fact that I have a paper due on Friday, and BIG papers due after Thanksgiving. Talk about timing!
Went to two movies last night, that was cool. Bought tickets to Team America and then we snuck into After the Sunset. Team America was okay, not as funny as I thought it would be. I really liked After the Sunset though.. it was pretty cool. That's about all that's been going on really. I bought the new A Perfect Circle album (eMOTIVE). It's damn good - almost all covers but done in a way different fashion, all cool and dark. Back on the homefront, the family got a new computer (yay!!) and they're having the other highly-used computer all fixed up which will be awesome. Mom is going to rearrange things upstairs - it's gonna be cut down to two computers, take out one of the desks (move it to by the stairs, good study space) and then move the loveseat from the basement up there so there's a good place to chill and watch TV. That will be very nice. And of course that means there will be some seating space missing in the basement, but my mom said we're planning on getting a new set for down there :) AND they bought a flat TV to go in the living room, mounted on the wall. All great stuff! Gotta love the family trips to Best Buy. I made them buy me the Zack Hexum CD too, since they didn't have it at the Best Buy here (bastards). So that's all the good stuff. I probably won't post on here much at all until I get my computer back and when I'm home for Thanksgiving. 9 more days!!! :) :)
