Depends on if they are singles or box set or how many discs, but I'm not sure, best offer really. How much do you think I should charge?

its your call-- but i wouldnt charge more than $3 a cd, especially if they are older, and because you dont have the original case. Thats a pet peeve for me because I like to keep the cases, and I have most of my cds in their case on display. But there are definitely cds there I want.

See for me keeping the cases was out of the question, I had at one point over a couple thousand. So instead of them taking up half my room I got rid of the annoying cases and put them in cd binders. The original case? ha you make it seem like it's a collectors item =P.
Ok well I'm willing to part with some for $3 , just let me know.

I also do have 100 cases if needed to accomodate, and I do actually have the "original" case( =0 ) to some if it wasn't just a plain clear plastic case. I just didn't feel like writing anymore after all that. If needed I could provide you with a list, just let me know which ones you're interested in. =)

$3 a cd is a good idea this way it will probably attract more people, cause really I don't know of anywhere you can get cd's for that cheap and if I sell them that cheap chances are I'll sell more than if at a higher price, which bottom line is I need $ =P

Hey do you think the Princeton record exchange would buy any?

I think they would. I used to sell my cds back to Tunes (RIP) for about $1 or $2... so getting $3 is better than what you will probably get at one of those record stores. They sell them cheap, so they buy them even cheaper.

Ok, I want...

Barenaked Ladies-All their greatest hits 1991-2001
Miles Davis-Kind of blue
Guns N' Roses-Apetite for destruction
George Harrison-All things must pass?
Jimmy Eat World-Static Prevails (I lost mine! I dont need the case, I have it, hehe)
Billy Joel Greatest hits volume 1 and volume 2 , 2 discs (I dont need vol. 2 so maybe you can keep it and try to sell that alone)
Billie Joel-Greatest hits volume 3
John Lennon-Lennon Legend the very best of John Lennon
Joni Mitchell-Blue
Duncan Sheik self titled album

thats 10 cds... $30. I dont care about the jewel discs if they arent the originals. Will you be at Homecoming on Sat? We can exchange there...

oh, and please let me know if the cds skip... I am not going to buy anything that looks all scratched up. Thanks :)

Oooh you have good tastes! absolutsublime1 October 12 2004, 10:29:39 UTC
Wow, tunes, that seems so long ago now. I used to love that place! =( I don't understand how record shops like that didn't do well in New Brunswick.
I had no idea they bought them for that cheap, shocking =(.

POOP! I forgot homecoming was saturday. It always seems so early to me. I think I'll probably be around though, so that sounds good.

Oh and the George Harrison All things must pass is actually a double cd, forgot to mention that.

I don't believe any of my cd's skip, I never left them out, ever, I was always anal about putting them away if they weren't being listened to.

I linked over to this from Jen's LJ. Just wanted to mention that there is a Tunes in Hoboken that I believe does the same with CD buy backs. and maybe you should try half.com for some of the ones you can't seem to get rid of..... just a suggestion.
