The Nerve
I totally didn't mind standing in line for almost 2 hours to vote, but having to stand behind three Black women who had the nerve to vote "YES" on Prop. 8 was just disgusting. Normally I'd avoid making this kind of remark, but when I hear a person complain how they were discriminated against because of their race, of course I'm going to stand behind them (I'm a "minority" after all, in more than one regard). This especially happens in Inglewood.
I'm holding on to every ounce of hope left in me 'cause on my way back home from voting, I saw nothing but "Yes on 8" posts on many lawns. To give you an example of the type of person with this sign: a convicted sex offender. SHAME!
