TRUTH
Truth be told, people often say.
But how many of us, in a fragile
State of mind can actually handle
The truth that ought to be told?
Truth can be as harsh as a wintry night
As crushing as a runaway boulder
It can be as sharp as a kitchen knife,
And it can slice, into pieces, one's
Heart and soul.
He, who says let truth be told
Has never known a truth
He wished would never unfold.
Truth can be as confusing as the quest
For the ultimate truth itself.
It can be misleading with its many facets.
Truth is as dark as the blackest night
And it often robs one of a good night rest.
Truth be told,
Sometimes, a truth is better left untold...
Undiscovered...
Unrevealed...
