I finally decided to have a short getaway in Bangkok during June.
This time round... it was with Jerald and Justin. (How nice... 3 Js in a Bangkok Trip :P).
There were supposed to be 5 pax but 2 decided to forfeit their hotel stay because of H1N1.
So suay... Thailand was declared H1N1 affected country just days before our trip.
The 3 of us decided to go ahead still and it was all worth it!
It was relaxing, fun and we managed to do what we intended :)
Firstly, Somerset Apartment at Sathorn was fabulous! hahaa
A 2 bedrooms service apartment with living room and kitchen.
It was bigger than it seemed in pictures.
Clean, elegant, classy and nice.
Definitely worth the money (just SGD95++ per pax for 3 nites!)
Too bad... we din have time to use the gym (big! cali compatible lol),
pool (humble n nice) and sauna (needless to say).
We were glad to have the whole apartment for 3 pax instead of 5. hahaa
Spent nearly 3 hours at JJ market, Justin and I each bought a white berms.
And that was just minutes before we ended our day at JJ market!
Well we did have our lunch day there.
The usual Fried Chicken (Yummy!)
Thai Sausages (eh... tasted weird, horrible and sour?!)
Papaya Salad with Fried Fish (Fried Fish is actually Ikan Bilis! lol) v spicy.
Jerald spotted a weird looking lizard (black with spots??!!) and that almost freaked me out.
I din even dare to turn and look at it :P
The usual shopping, eating, and massage in Bangkok.
Met a group of HK friends and had dinner at our favourite Grandfather's Restaurant at Siam Square.
Did our final shopping at Siam Paragon/Siam Centre/Discovery Centre.
Our final dinner at this Japanese/Korean Fusion Charcoal Grilled Restaurant was good!
We ordered the Premium Beef Set (Sirloin, beef cube, steak, and duno wat other cuts) for 899 Baht!
Topped out 1 Baht and we had another plate of premium beef sirloin.
That's really alot of beef and it's so cheap :P Grilling part was very interesting.
We concluded... vegetarian shouldn't each BBQ stuffs because vegetable dun really taste nice when you grilled them.
4 days 3 nites seems pretty fast. It was over just like that hahaa.
Going back to working reality soon... haiz :P
