(no subject)
Today, was in it's entirety, a good day. I did laundry, caught the important races, did the week's reading for Psych., worked out, and now the only item left to check off my imaginary list is to answer 3 discussion questions about what I just read. Cakewalk, right?
I've been attempting to write my responses for over an hour. As a writer, I am overly familiar with the curse of Writer's Block. This isn't it. I simply cannot will myself to focus. TVG is on across the room and I have only the vaguest idea what tracks are even running right now.
So I'm making espresso in my cute lil art deco cast-aluminum percolator espresso pot. This is not a essentially a problem... aside from the fact that I have plans w/ my mother tomorrow morning to leave around 10am (which means waking up at 9am) to head to the fairgrounds. I'm not sure what's going on, some sort of quarter horse shows/trials. Mainly I'm going to spend time with my mom before I move in a month, as we're both ultra busy, but I'd also like to see her newly acquired horse, Bailey. We stopped in to see her other horse, Buckshot, at the trainer's last week. He hasn't injured anyone (yet) and seems to be minding his manners. Not sure if she's going to sell or keep him, at this point.
OH-- ...and I've got my eye on Opera Bravo for Tokyo race 9. Good name & good stats. ^_^*
