Pet Peeves: Vol. ? (unknown)
It drives me up the wall when people selling home decor & furnishings DON'T KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN Art Deco and Art Nouveau.
The next time I try to find Art Deco wallpaper or lighting fixtures or rugs and end up finding something flowery, flowing, and curlicued beyond belief labeled "art deco", I'm going to... ...well, most likely do what I always do, which is impotently and vehemently insult the computer screen.
Still. Grrr.
Fucking annoying.
(....and don't get me started on Turkoman rugs labeled Chinese or Soumak rugs sold as "Cashmere"....)
