Yet another month, MIA....
Exactly one month has elapsed since I've updated what is becoming a rather unremarkable blog.
However-- that shall be remedied in short order. Well, somewhat "short" order, at the very least.
Yesterday I was accepted into the Illinois Institute of Art - Chicago's Interior Design program! ^_^*
Not only have I been formally accepted into the school, but instead of starting the Summer term on July 9th I am taking an accelerated Spring mid-term start by taking two online courses. Which begin on THURSDAY. My books & materials will arrive tomorrow via UPS Overnight. I am taking Psychology and Textiles. Of the two, I think Textiles will be the most interesting.
I don't have a move date set in stone yet, but am without question (and quite obviously) moving BACK TO CHICAGO. I've been checking out apts. online and plan to take the train in for a weekend prior to moving to see some places in person before signing a lease.
The best part of the recent events in my life? With more ambition and purpose, I find my months-long depression dissipating.
Or perhaps it's simply spring. ^_~
