It's a combination of things, most assuredly, but I am feeling more and more revitalized today. Perhaps I should say tonight.
Spent a majority of the day submitting a few dozen resumes. Which is truly exhausting. I'm also keeping track of all the info in an Excel spreadsheet, because yes, I am that tainted by the corporate world.
I have to figure out some sort of way to be in Chicago 2 weeks from tonight. Autechre is performing live, which is a rarity in and of itself, let alone being at a venue I can reasonably get my sweet lil ass to (The Abbey). I haven't been to The Abbey since the end of Pigface's last tour... which was a night carved into the minds of all who attended, whether willingly or no. Between seeing Sheep On Drugs and taking a ride in the Scottie-dubbed "Santa Cab" to boredom at Neo and hotel room afterparties. I (sort of) remember passing out on my futon, with my shoes still on, no less.. in an armful of tulips I'd picked while walking back to my apt. from wherever we parked. I remember the overpowering fragrance of the crushed tulips, when I woke up sometime later that morning. At least my friends had been polite enough to lock the door on their way out, after I crashed, haha!
Wow-- tangent!! ^_^*
Anyhow... things are in process and the wheels are turning. Mine and others. There is a massive amount of change looming ahead for those that like to pay attention to such omens rather than get hit with a seemingly random storm surge. I mean this in a selective scale, of course, so take my Cassandra predictions with a grain of salt. ^_~
More to come, later tonight: pictures from Florida (don't too excited, there are only four)
fate,
shows,
energy,
changes,
life,
music
