...of why I am still here, in the middle of nowhere, in Michigan. A city girl without her long lost city.

Until I get a phone call and I remember why this is ALL worth the sacrifice. Every miserable bit of it. Why I made this decision in the first place, even if part of it is moderate suffering and serious deprivation.
