For anyone that cares about such things, it looks like EchoStar is making a move to buy up SirisXM stock.
EchoStar is more popularly known as Dish Network. Interestingly enough, it was a failed WorldCom project, and we all know how I feel about them.
I've been oddly happy with the service I've got from Dish Network, only other service providing company I've been that pleased with before was Speakeasy.
As far as XM I liked the service, but thought their customer relations where pretty weak. And once Siris took over their programming has become much more mainstream, and much more censored, which annoys the crap out of me.
It looks to me like somebody is thinking long term for once.
