lack of updates
due to lack of anything major happening in my life. hooray me. new song in my life (one that I chose not to do for the gig): Tim McGraw's live like you were dying. It takes a while to get a feel for it... The lyrics work up some.. Sortof the most relevant bit would be the chorus thing that goes

I went Rocky Mountain climbing
I went 2.7 seconds on a bull named fumanchu
and I loved deeper and I spoke sweeter
and I gave forgiveness I'd been denying
and he said someday I hope you get the chance
to live like you were dying.
which, yeah. I guess I'd say I take my being alive for granted. It's true that for the most part, you never really go around telling people how much you care about them or how the things that they do are hurtful. Then every now and again you (ok I) get something that makes you look and think well yeah it's not that we've got all that long a life to live anyway. Make the most of it. Do things and go out on a limb every now and again. Be just that little bit less conservative maybe.
You could take the view that no matter how you live you're dying anyway, but that would be missing the point :p and re-naming the song "live like you've got a nasty disease and might die real soon" somehow makes it less poetic.
Point is that I don't know what my point is.
