Last night's gig
was good. Definitely good. John did better than he's ever done before. Lionel and Eric did well too. We played an ultra tight set that went as follows:

2. Fields of gold
3. Black Balloon
4. Change the world
5. Tribute
6. Blame it on the boogie
7. No such thing
8. Billie Jean/Cosmic girl super combo
Since we played straight after Fuad we decided to move summer of 69 up to first to ease the crowd down abit. Response was great, people were screaming and singing and everything. ^_^ Fields of gold eased it down and black balloon got people sitting up. Change the world got a good response as well and tribute knocked everyone over. Blame it on the boogie got people actually dancing.. I invited everyone down but I never expected to see people bopping about. I must admit I made a bit of a hash of no such thing :X It was much harder to sing it live than I expected but that's my first vocal performance down and not the worst thing ever :X I think. :X
Our Billie Jean/Cosmic Girl medley super combo was kicking. We rounded off with, incredibly, an encore of tribute. O___O We were the only ones who got people dancing and the only call for an encore so hopefully that means something O_O;;; It was hard work setting up and Izora's band caused alot of trouble in the afternoon being horribly pedantic and childish. Well fuck them I don't have to see her ever again in this lifetime if I don't want to. Also Fuad's modded DS-1 went missing over the night causing no small amount of tension with him and Vincent. Izora's bitch boy came and had a go at me because I suggested searching all the bands as they left. Well whatever. It's not like I enjoy looking through people's bags and shit. Just felt like I should at least try to do something for both Fuad and Vince since they *are* my friends. As it turns out somebody found it and had been holding on to it. They turned it in later on just before leaving. Sheesh. ._. All's well anyway.
All in all a very good night. A girl from school happened to be there by some random chance. (she knew someone who was at the checkers' gig last week and he came and brought them along too) Surprisingly she was really nice to me this time. Waaay nicer than she ever was to me in school. Raffique says it must be because now I'm rock star :P and by golly she's HAWT these days. Always was an attractive girl but wow. heh. =D I go back to uni next Tuesday... Plan to play more stuff this year. Possibly starting with the acoustic nights in the graduate on campus. See how that turns out.
