Quote of the day: "The earth is doomed." - Giles in the series premiere and the series finale of Buffy the Vampire Slayer

I didn't sleep well, and woke early. I decided to watch Buffy on FX since I was awake. The episode that's on? "Welcome to the Hellmouth"/"The Harvest," the two eps that aired as the two hour season premiere back in 1997. I'm such a sap because I was all teary, thinking about the very last episode the night before. I know FX was in the middle of season four, so they must have aired this purposefully last night because of the finale. That is total manipulation.

The concert was incredible. It was definitely the best concert I've ever been to. The vocals were great (Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham's voices together live? Amazing.) I was sad that Christine McVie wasn't part of this tour, but it was still fantastic. Lindsey played the hell out of the guitar. And Stevie? That woman never ages. She was just radiant. Colleen and I had a lot of fun.

We had seats up really high, but the lift thingie that brings wheelchairs up on a platform was broken, so we were moved. We were moved to way better seats! These handicap seats were not being used because they were probably too expensive, so we got to sit there, along with the other people who were supposed to sit in the higher level seats. Kickass, yo. Seriously.

In light of the family situation I mentioned before, we had a good time for at least a few hours.

First Episode You Saw: "Something Wicca This Way Comes." Yep, I've been there since the beginning.

What got you hooked: Heh, interesting story. My sister came home from somewhere over the summer of 1998 and told me there was going to be a WB show about three sisters who happen to be witches starring Shannen Doherty and Alyssa Milano. My reaction?: "So?" I didn't care one way of the other about SD and AM back then (now I'm an SD fan and despise AM). Then she added that Holly Marie Combs would be in it as well. My reaction: "I'll have to check that out." I've been an HMC fan since her days on Picket Fences. Of course, her character Piper became my favorite. The rest is history.

Have you gotten anyone else to start watching: I could say my sister, but we started watching together.

Favorite 5 Episodes: In order from 1 to 5: "All Hell Breaks Loose," "That 70s Episode," "Deja vu All Over Again," "Chick Flick" and "Morality Bites."

Least favorite episode: "Nymphs Just Wanna Have Fun." It was from the season that just ended. It has surpassed my former least favorite. Bad does not even begin to describe this disaster.

Favorite Main Character: Piper followed closely by Prue.

Least Favorite Main Character: Phoebe.

Favorite Minor/Recurring Character: Grams.

Least Favorite Minor/Recurring Character: Dan and Jenny! Gah!

Favorite 'Ship: Prue/Andy.

Least Favorite 'Ship: Phoebe/Cole. (Sorry to those who like this 'ship.)

Favorite Guest Star: Jennifer Rhodes and Finola Hughes.

Least Favorite Guest Star: All of the crappy actors hired to play warlocks, demons, etc.

Favorite Season: Season one. There was a lot of sisterly interaction that seems to be missing of late.

Least Favorite Season: Four. It was the P/C soap opera for much of the season. No thanks.

Favorite Writer: I could say Brad Kern since he wrote my very favorite episode, but he screwed the show up so he deserves a bitch slapping.

Favorite Quote: "I am being stalked by psycho killers and I hide in the shower?" - Piper, "Chick Flick."

also...

"Everything's under control, don't worry about a thing. I've got it all under control. Hi, he needs medical attention. The pastor's inside, I kicked his ass. He needs attention too, he's knocked out!" - Prue, "Sin Francisco." All in Shannen's delivery.

Favorite Ep for Humor: "Chick Flick" and "Sin Francisco"

Favorite Ep for Drama: "All Hell Breaks Loose" and "Hell Hath No Fury"
