These are in chronological order by show/movie.
Dana Scully, The X-Files
One of the greatest television FBI agents ever. I'm not sure there would be an Olivia Dunham without her.
Susan Ivanova, Babylon 5
She is God. That's all you need to know.
Elphaba Thropp & Glinda Upland, Wicked
I could have picked them for the friendship category. I love how they started out as enemies and became the best of friends and very strong women. Like the PLLs, they do almost anything for each other.
Jo Lupo, Eureka
I just got into this show, and I knew right away she was my favorite character. She's badass, awesome, and a genuinely good and caring person.
Dani Reese, Life
Another badass law enforement officer. She did not take crap from anyone, even her eccentric partner. Though he annoyed her often, she was still the most loyal partner..and eventual friend.
Sarah Walker, Chuck
I wish there had been a favorite spy category. That's what Sarah would be. She's actually in my top five list of greatest female characters ever. She's good with guns and even better with knives and martial arts. She literally would kick your ass.
Jessica Hamby, True Blood
My favorite character on this show. That tells you something considered I despised her when she first appeared. I wanted someone to stake her so bad. Then she became awesome. Like Caroline, it was fascinating to watch her deal with the whole vampire thing.
Parker, Leverage
The cliched thief with a heart of gold. But she's way more than that. She's a muli-layered and well developed character who went from loner to adjusting to people to falling in love. And it's been so enjoyable to see.
Claudia Donovan, Warehouse 13
This is a girl who could have been a villain. Instead, she was just looking for her brother. She ended up with much more as the Warehouse crew became her family. Oh, and she is so adorably quirky.
Rapunzel, Tangled
So sweet and adorable...and she knows how to use a frying pan the right way, by defending herself with it. Watching her explore and learn about herself was both heartbreaking and triumphant. It's a Disney movie, after all.
Emily Thorne, Revenge
The queen of the bitchface and revenge. She is not a very nice person and she is not at all innocent, but I love her anyway. She has her reasons for acting as she does, and I respect that. And I root for her every damn time.
