So it's been about two months since my last post. I said I was going to post more once school ended. Um, oops? Just haven't had much to say. Most of my "blogging" has been happening on twitter.
Since it has been so long, I am going to write about all the tv I've been watching this summer. There's been a lot of it. I'll go by day of the week, though I rarely watch any of these live.
Monday
The only show I watch on Monday is Warehouse 13. This show is so enjoyable. It's mostly lighthearted fun. A lot of stuff doesn't make sense, but it's good to just go with it. Then it does make sense. Love all the characters. I really like new guy. He integrated pretty well. I love his sibling-like relationship with Claudia. Also, the rumored H.G. spinoff prequel thing needs to happen. Preferably with Ianto! Anyway, fun show. Will keep watching.
I tried The Lying Game since it's also based on books by the Pretty Little Liars author. I was bored by the pilot. Last ten minutes were okay, but I think I am gonna skip this one.
Tuesday
Obviously, my favorite show on Tuesdays is Pretty Little Liars. Really enjoying season two, though I want to know who 'A' is already, omg. 'A' has been very brazen this season and a lot more creepy. Poor Emily. Hanna is still the most awesome. Also, her mom is my favorite of the parents. I am very interested in Aria's family life, too. Seriously. I like her more this season. Anyway, this show is so entertaining. More people should watch. Only two left until mid-season hiatus. D:
The Nine Lives of Chloe King is somewhat enjoyable. Reminds me a bit of Buffy. I think the show made a mistake of trying to pair her with Brian, though. She has a million times more chemistry with Alek. Anyway, the mid-season finale was pretty damn good. Very much a cliffhanger. Sadly, the ratings were terrible. I honestly don't expect this one to return. I'll be surprised if it does.
I watched White Collar as well. Love this show. Even though a lot of it is very implausible, I just go with it. It's that kind of show. I do not like Sara, though. Wish they did not add her to the main cast. I liked her better when she was just an art fraud investigator (or whatever) who provided antagonistic snark. Hate her as a love interest for Neal. I miss Alex. Nice that Peter and Neal still care even if they were a bit at odds. Mid-season finale was excellent! Can it be January already?
Friday
Torchwood. It's made of crack. There was one episode that upset me so much, I could not sleep the night I watched it. I miss old school Torchwood, but this one's okay. I love badass Gwen. She was my least favorite on old TW but my favorite on this newer one. Again, crack is what this is. Interested to see where this goes.
Sunday
The only show I do watch live over the summer is Leverage. Like White Collar, a lot of these cases are not the most realistic. I don't care. I love this show most. It's got drama, it's funny, it has kickass fight scenes, and it sometimes has sappy endings. Everything I love! Parker and Hardison are all kinds of adorable, too! My favorite ship on tv right now.
Finally, True Blood. Good lord, this show. I don't even know where to begin. It's kind of a mess this season. Jessica and Jason are the only characters I care about. I really want old Eric back right now. And maybe this is unpopular, but I like King!Bill. He's better when he's a bit nastier and manipulative, imo. I'll keep watching because I've stuck with it this long. Hopefully there will be an excellent payoff!
This post makes me realize I watch too much tv. I don't care. :D
