In summary
Hello there,
It's been awhile hasn't it? Well I'm still alive, I just didn't feel like writing about my life. In the spirit of Dave Eggers, I guess I didn't feel like I owed anyone a anything. Fuck it. I don't need you, I give and you take what I feed you. Love me, breathe me, consume me but you will never own me. Actually in truth, I haven't really had anything to write about. I'm haven't been depressed, angry, or even particularly egotistical. Being normal doesn't make for good reading material.
In case you're wondering, here's a recap of the last month or so:
Nat and I decided to have another go at it. We're learning and growing and having great sex again. But mostly we play Mario Kart Double Dash. She drives and I make blue sparks and toss turtles. Shouldn't all relationships be like this?
The holidays were great. I went home to my family and friends and had a great time every single day. I bumped into people I knew all over the city and managed to do all the things I love to do in Vancouver - eat, laugh, and yak orange goop on the streets of Gastown.
New Years Eve rocked. Went to Giant with my good friends Jay and Alf who both flew in from out of town. Alf stole the show. The So brothers were classic. I got lots of love from my baby. The company was most excellent. I still get flashbacks when I hear the Fallen remix.
Last week, my roommate dropped a bomb on me and told me she's moving out. I have 2 weeks to find a new roommate or I'm moving out. I've pretty much been on a campaign, staying up late and looking for places. I think i'm close but I don't want to jinx it.
My left eye is red. I think I infected it with toilet scrub or something.
