(no subject)
I know, I know, I've been lacking on the updates. So here goes. This past weekend I took my horse Snaz to the color breed seminar at the fair grounds. Basically it's a "mock show" sort of thing. See, every year judges have to re-new their judging cards so they ask us to bring our horses out for free and ride around and "act" like we're in a real show. It's really good for the horses b/c it gets them back into the show season and we're not really being judged so we can still train in the ring!! Anyway it's a win win situation. I got to see my old trainer Glenda and she gave me some tips for Snaz. She showed me a new training technique that she's been using recently. Tomorrow I start jumping lessons with a lady named Lisa, she's is the owner of the stables that my horses are staying at. I'm excited about this year b/c hopefully I'll get to take Snaz to a lot of breed shows. My goal for him is Nationals this year (in june). So we really need to step up the training!! My goal with Sultan is to get him back into shape and back into the showing mind set. I may take him to some shows, but mainly to try to get him sold.
