Subic Trip Yesterday

Goodbye to the month of November and hello to the month of December! I cannot believe that it's already December! But I have no choice but to believe it. Haha. It's been a month since I was just in Boracay! Oh, I seriously miss that place already!

I just would like to tell you about our trip to Subic yesterday with some of my family. We went up there to deliver some lights and we went around Subic at the same time to look at great deals, search for good food and look around at some of their hotels in the area.

Meat Plus Cafe is a must go-to when you go to Subic! It is amazin for such affordable prices, the quality of food doesn't suffer. Here are the pictures I took of our meals there.

All of the food we ate. I have to admit, we are a family of big eaters.

My baby back ribs meal (P280). The meat was fall-off-the-bones tender and very flavorful.

Ribeye steak grilled to perfection.

Make that TWO ribeye steaks grilled to perfection. Look at these beauts! You really can't go wrong with these. Then there's the beef belly at the back.

They have a freezer section where you can buy frozen meat to bring home or have it grilled there to be served -- just like the ribeye steaks up there in the pictures.

Then we went around the Duty Free shops in the area, scouting for good deals on beauty products. Products that are usually not sold in the city are being sold here such as this Dove soap in Shea Butter scent. I couldn't help but buy it for US$10.98!

The whole thing for US$10.98! A good deal if I may say! Because the 2-pack of the same thing costs around US$4.48.

Dove soap out of its box and ready to use.

I also splurged and bought some green tea perfume by Elizabeth Arden from a Duty Free shop. I computed the cost and came up with the conclusion that it's cheaper to buy the promo of 2-bottles of 30ml than to buy a bottle of 50ml.

My sister and I bought this promo of getting two mascaras from Maybelline and it comes with a free black eyeliner pencil for only US$16! Yay! I've been meaning to buy a new eyeliner as well since I believe my liquid eyeliner is almost empty and not to mentioned, expired.

My sisters and I bought the same kind of Cushe slippers in different colors for a cheaper price than that of the city's. although my sister just messaged me that her slipper's thong got broken. She's asking me to wear mine around to see if the straps would get broken as well so we can have it fixed in their city office. So far so good, my slippers are still secure.

All in all, I can say that the trip was a huge success for our shopping appetite but not for our wallets! Haha, but I really enjoyed it even though there were times that I was almost asleep while pushing the shopping cart because of my medicines. I really would like to go back again there next time.
