Chris and I just came back from Noah's 2 week doctor's visit. He has put on almost a pound, which makes me VERY happy because it seems that he has some reflux issues (lots of spitting up, some of it projectile through his nose). I am concerned about the acid causing him pain, and him getting colic, but the doctor says that he is on target with his behaviors and growth, so unless he starts to get really fussy, they are going to hold off on meds because he is currently a really good natured baby.
I am also happy to announce that he took a bottle (did I already mention that...I may have) and then went on to my boob for a topper, so he has no issues switching between the two. That means a little more freedom for me. I have started to pump after his morning feeding, and I am stocking up the freezer in preparation for getting to go out with Chris some time soon.
Speaking of freezers, Mommom gave us money toward a freezer, which Chris and I are going to go look at (once I am done here). This means that I can not only store lots of milk, but I can do a good shopping trip at Costco once I can eat all those good foods again (I have to watch what I eat for now because of the reflux).
Oh, and speaking of Chris, he was "released" from the VA hospital today, meaning that they consider his cancer cured and don't need to see him for check-ups anymore. :)
On that note, I am out of here.
