Work Update...
So Nick got the flowers today at work...I've got the e-mails...and I think I'm going to post them in a chat form:
um...just a little info to begin.....I'm work downstairs...he works upstairs...it's usually really cold where I am...and I always joke with him when I go upstairs that the reason it's so hot upstairs is him. So he was downstairs when I sent this first message.....
Me: wow...really strange...it got really really hot down here a little while ago...
Nick: dude! You're dead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Me: huh??...what cause I said i was hot??
Nick: GGGGRRRRRRRRRRR!!!
Okay....so if you read my post yesterday...this is all I put on the card with the flowers...
Me: oh your growling at me again huh.... so like i said yesterday...I was being a catty ass...I know you explained that you don't like to mess with friends/coworkers...soooo this was an apology....your lucky it wasn't more....I was gonna send yellow roses...which means friendship...but that was like a dozen...and I'm sure you woulda killed me then....
Nick: they're very nice and thoughtful...Embarrassing, but very nice...you've got to stop worrying so much and sweating the little things...you'll drive yourself crazy.
Me: i know...damn I just wanted to see how red you'd get....but your not mad right?...
cause I was thinking it over...and I didn't want to send the wrong message...
Nick: Believe me, I'm Red as anything...my whole group's giving me a hard time!!! No, I'm not mad...if everyone knew, then maybe...BTW Red tulips mean a declaration of love and white signifies a perfect lover...They went on the internet to look them up!
Me: you don't want to take me out and scold me during my lunch break do you??? =-(
Nick: naah...I'll wait until outside of work!!

So I think it went well....I gotta talk to him this weekend if I see him...might go out again...
