Subject message: Screw quotes, I'm going Japanese.

Translation: When I take a bath, I like to sing.

Somewhat long update today so I'm putting it under a cut to spare people's friends' pages. It's about my Yokohama trip this past weekend. Truth is, this is my second time writing this because the computer froze...*evil eyes*

Well, it started off with getting there of course. We took the Shinkansen which was only about an hour and a half trip. We arrived at my host aunt's apartment and visit for a while. The only bad things that really happened during this whole period was HM not talking to me and when we bumped into one of her students at the train station (she's a teacher...yeah, go figure), she didn't introduce me and literally pretended I was with someone else.

Afterwards, we headed off to the famous China town in Yokohama. That place is huge! We walked around for a while and then headed off to Yokohama harbor (biggest in Japan). We took a boat to an amusement park. It was already 8pm so it was pitch black when me and my host cousin, Nana, rode all the roller coasters and scary-looking rides.

We decided to head home. I learned that my host sister would stay at my host aunt's place while me and my HM stayed at a hotel. I was like, "DOOM!!"
I'm not sure why though (maybe the amusement ride excitement still hadn't faded) but I couldn't stop talking to my HM on our way home. She eventually warmed up and talked back. I was beginning to think that we'd have fun sharing a room when she ends up paying for 2 separate rooms.

I wasn't sure whether to be happy to be alone and away from the stress of talking or sad that she wanted to be away from me. Either way, I stayed up all night, had a relaxing bath, and had the comforts of home with my because the hotel was a western style. I was amazed at how many things I had forgotten about like the bath, English TV, and stuff.

In the end, I had a good weekend...ignoring the fact that my HM didn't talk to me. *tear*
