From one extreme to the other...

It felt like my Saturday was non-stop. We woke up, watched movies with my mother (The Tale of Despereaux and Seven Pounds); both were great btw. <3

Then we cleaned the house, took off for grocery shopping, picked up some of my friends, and came back to make dinner with them. These friends of mine are some that I have brought into my church and they're from Nigeria. They wer treating us to some Nigerian food but boy was it ever spicy! lol It was a blast though and we played games afterwards and talked.

Then I took off with another friend after they left and I went to the movie theatre to watch 17 Again which was absolutely hilarious! I am now a Zac Efron fan! That movie was amazing! lol

So after all was said and done, my friend dropped me off and I walked to my house to find it locked and me without my house key for once. I knocked, wished we had a door bell, nearly broke open my sister's window to wake her up from her heavy sleep to no avail, threw some rocks at my parents' second story window, and attempted to crawl through ANY window! Nothing worked. So I stood there at my front door (and while all this was going on I had been phoning my home phone in hopes of waking someone up) and felt defeated: I'm locked out of my house in the middle of the night!!

Thankfully my mother left her van unlocked and I made a makeshift bed in there. These are one of the times where I wish I didn't live in Canada during the Spring because the days might be nice but the nights are still below zero. *sigh* So needless to say I wasn't comfortable or warm. I managed to fall asleep but thankfully my mother phoned my cell at around 1:30am and was freaking out! The first thing she asks me is 'Are you drunk?' because I answered all tired-like. lol

So I got inside and that's that. lol

Then today we had church where we celebrated this couple's 60th anniversary; what a testimony eh? To have been married and in love with someone for that long? Amen.

Before our sermon I spotted this poster promoting this free worhsip concert downtown. It tingled my fancy: free and music? It was calling my name. So I just got back from this concert where it was promoting the new/first album of this local singer, Ander Allen, who I recommend to you now because he's amazing! Search him on google or something. He's like a mix between Daniel Powter and Paolo Nutini; two guys I love. <3

I was a dork and got a picture taken with him, bought his CD, and a asked for his autograph. I'm in heaven! <3
