isI finally got one huge thing done and crossed off the ever-growing to-do list: I bought my grad dress! <3
Yes, finally put a deposit on it today. It didn't even take me that long to find it; I just walked in, tried it on, tried a different size, then bought it. lol It's a beautiful brown (matches my hair, lol), with a jeweled chest part and ruffeled skirt. It's poofy too! I'll have to post some pictures once I'm able to pick it up. The only thing I have to do with it is alter the top because my chest is too small for it (which is a surprise seeing as I'm a double H cup or something) because the dress is made for a taller person. Which brings us to our next topic:
I grew!! In roughly a year I've gained an entire half inch!!! This is huge for me. My friends laugh but whatever. I hate to admit it...but I'm short. I'm finally 5'2.5" at the age of 18. *sigh* Guess it'll make finding a taller boyfriend easier?
We voted for our grad song finally. The finalists were Rascal Flatts(sp?)-My Wish, That 'If you just believe' song by an artist I can't recall, and my personal favourite: David Cook-Time of my life. We learn the results soon I hope. lol
Sociology's getting more interesting. We had a huge discussion about the movie, 'Crash'. Also, the book we're reading, 'Ishmael', is becoming more and more interesting. I'm loving the depth the book has about our culture and how humans across the world think about the universe we live in. I recommend it to anyone really. It's a great read. <3
English, we're beginning our readers' theatre and I must perfect my male voice; I sound too much like Napolean Dynamite. lol 'Taming of the Shrew' is still cute. Has anyone read it before? I had the fortune to watch the play a year or so ago so it still makes sense.
Anywho, that's my update. <3 I got a new layout too.
