Yay for Winter Break!!! <3
Thursday was so messed. The leadership group went out at 7 in the morning till 9am and then again at 3:30 - 6pm to raise food, money, etc along the highway, etc for our fundraiser. We did an amazing job and made like nearly $500! It was a terrific turnout in the morning shift, not so much in the night time. But man....it was bloody cold! It was like -10 degrees but with the wind it made it feel like 10 times worse! My toes and ears nearly fell off but I continued to hold my arrow sign up and be a 'trooper' like my teacher said. XD
Friday, because we raised so much food, money as a school, the leadership class had to run out in their bathing suits around the field and roll in the snow. Yeah. I didn't enjoy that but it definitely woke me up in the morning before my math test. There was like a good 2 feet of snow too so it made for some freezing legs, snow in the shoes, and really scraped up arms because some of that snow turned into ice. =O
And now it's the weekend...but even better? It's the winter break I was looking so forward too. I'll be online more often of course so night everyone! Hope everyone's enjoying the season; it's officially winter on Sunday!! <3
